She appeared to Bernadette Soubrious, a 14 year old peasant girl. If your church has a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes, count the Rosary decades on the Rosary the Blessed Mother is holding! We have counted six decades rosary on every statue so far.
How would you offer the sixth decade for the Poor Souls? Announce the sixth decade for the Poor Souls, pause for a minute to remember your deceased family, friends or enemies, then say the decade as you normally would.

The Blessed Mother cares for the Poor Souls because She knows they will be going home to Heaven. Whenever she visits Purgatory, there is calm and peace around the Poor Souls because of Her Presence.
The more you pray for the Poor Souls, the more they will pray for you. Once in Heaven, the Poor Souls can offer much stronger prayers for you! People offering to pray for you is nice, but the Poor Souls praying for you has power and love and mercy and everything else we need!
